Upcoming Courses for 2024
A number of highly acclaimed artists with a wealth of experience of teaching in prestigious HE art schools will be collaborating with us in 2024. We are in the process of devising course content and timetabling that both serve the needs of our community whilst allowing opportunity for the artists to develop and deliver courses that speak to who they are, and where their core interests lie.
2024 STRUCTURE
Course structures will be varied, and may involve a term course of evening life drawing, intensive 3 day (or maybe 3 or more mornings 10-1.30pm) focused each on hands, feed, head, torso, hips etc, a year long portrait course involving a number of highly established portrait artists from around the country, (we will need to wait until we have new project up and running with cabin and studio for visiting artists in residence to stay in), as well as courses focusing on working from preparatory sketches of the human form and exploring processes of developing these into paintings.
There are a lot of things to consider as we bring justlife.art into more solid form.

If you are interested in getting involved in the development and running of justlife.art, whether you feel you have specific skills that are very relevant or are simply wanting to give a hand, and help out in any way practically or otherwise, have a look at our ‘volunteering’ page. There are a myriad of different ciomponents that need attending to for justlife to be able to function. We especially welcome input and volunteering from anyone feeling marginalised in the community for whatever reason or circumstance.
